Studied at LSE and QMC London University and at University of Derby: BSc Hons Economics, BSc Hons Mathematics, PGCE. Thirty years teaching and tutoring experience. From micro electronics and computing at Technical College to Secondary School Maths Key Stages 3 to 5. Last 8 years specialising in A level Maths, Further Maths and Electronics teaching and University degree preparation. Focus on preparing students for Oxbridge and Russell Group maths degree applications. This includes: Personal Statement support; Mock Interviews; training in entrance exams (STEP, MAT, AEA); providing appropriate extra curricular research. Heavily involved in Russell Group programmes most notably Nottingham University's Widening Participation project. Liaison with Loughborough University's research into Mathematical Education and preparing to study for a maths degree. Tutor bachelors degree students in selected maths modules. Specialise in Optimisation: Operations Research, Linear Programming, Dynamic Programming. Teaching WJEC Electronics A Level including building and designing.
